Never before in the history of bead filtration manufacturing has there ever been introduced
a fully automated backwash control system that allows for complete automated forced air backwashing with a specialized reliable computer control system which automatically signals pumps, forced air blowers, low level water controllers, and safety valves. All components are sequenced through an Allen-Bradley micro-control center with a patent pending for the
specialized micro-control protocol programming. Aquadyne~Atlantis is programmed to mimic
all mechanical manipulations of the Aquadyne bead filtration systems electronically.
Atlantis will turn off pumps, turn on blowers and cycle all backwash, rinse, and filtration cycles totally unattended. After a backwash cycle, water flow is returned to your pond or water feature with no aesthetic loss of water quality during all cycles. In the past some pond installers have experimented with sand filter automated controls attempting to automate bead filters. Unfortunately, these so called backyard attempts usually end in failure, as ponds have been drained for "no apparent reason", or " debris gets jammed in the main seal and leaks out the waste line", or " the automated gear box causes failure of the main seal due to torque only
seal rotation designs when the pump cutoffs fail.

Micro-Control Programming makes this system exclusive in
that Atlantis will turn off pumps, lift and auto-rotate the internal
flow control diverter to appropriate positions and auto-release
the diverter into it's seated position with no friction torque on
the main head seal. There is no additional stress placed on the main seal over a manual operating system. The main feature of
Atlantis is that it will automatically sequence and air-wash an Aquadyne with the Dynamax system while cycling all backwash and rinse cycles, and return only pristine, clean, clear water back
to your feature through a fully cleaned filter bed. No one will ever know that the system has cleaned itself completely unattended.
